stupid law school, stupid constitution

In one my classes we have to read a new appellate decision that just came out on abortion and it's KILLING me. It's all about D&E's and different constitutional issues of them and even though it's not exactly the same, I had a D&C along with my salpingectomy when I had my ectopic and it makes my heart hurt. 

Can someone write a note to my prof saying that it's just too mean to make me read this?!?!  

Why does it seem like once you've dealt with MC/PL that it comes up EVERYWHERE!!?!?!

    I agree with that....it seems like everywhere you go there is something that reminds you of it....and when you finally feel a little better about it and yourself....Poof somethings there to bring you back down...... I am sorry you have to read that and dredge it all up again.... ((HUGS))

    I'm sorry you have to deal with that.  Since MC, it really does seem like it's every where...maybe we're just more aware of it but that doesn't make it any less annoying.  ugh...

    I can understand what you are going thru.  The term that I took Constitutional Law (Undergrad) was the same term of my mc.  The week after my mc is when we discussed and had to write a paper on why Abortion is legal.  It was not the prof's fault, it was in the syllabus that we would be covering it that particular week.  But it did not make it easier.  I ended up putting the paper off as long as possible, because I just could not deal with it.  It was so fresh in my mind what had happened.  I wish that we could all just blink our eyes ala I Dream of Jeanie and be on the other side.  ::HUGS::  I am sorry that you are having to deal with reading this particular subject.  And I hope that you will be able to get thru it quickly so that you can put it behind you.
