Re: explain the difference hemp, bamboo, etc
Here's the difference between hemp and bamboo - Hemp is the most absorbent fiber out there but it absorbs slower then all the other fibers. So if you have a flooder, you might need to pair it with another fabric on top so that fabric can catch the flood and the hemp can then absorb everything else. Bamboo absorbs faster but it's not as absorbent as hemp.
Basically most absorbent to least absorbent:
Hemp
Microfiber (I think this is where mf would fall)
Bamboo
Cotton (flannel, cotton knits, terry - like towels, etc)
Hemp fleece is a fluffier version of standard hemp fabric. Makes it a bit comfier against the skin but not real benefits absorbency wise or anything.
I've never heard of hemp bamboo - I'm guessing this is a mix fabric but I couldn't tell you much about the quality or texture.
Bamboo Velour is extremely soft and silky. An excellent against the skin layer and even when wet it has a more stay dry feeling then other natural fibers (not a true stay dry layer but less 'soaked' then other fabrics)
HTH!
Same as the Hemp fleece then - basically just a fluffy bamboo fabric
