Baby Names

You want some REAL deranged names?

From my hospital since Sammy was born (they list the babies born there on their site):

Symphony

Zeron

Tre'Mer

Ne'Pharion (which I've been told is a boss in WoW... Indifferent)

Alexanderia (do not name your baby while still feeling the effects of the epidural!)

Vahleya

Qu'Mari

Paetyn (...)

Tristiana Zariah Lottie

Tramire My'Zir

McKynzi (.................!!!!!!!!!! aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!)

DaKota Qunicy

Twins: Ny'Ashia Leeshea & Nevaeh Mashea

Za'Niyah

And though it wasn't on the site (not everyone wants their babies up there) on the board at the hospital I also caught a Braveheart, Heavenly Angels and a LeLaLee. WHY PEOPLE, WHY?

Every single one of these is a real and honest baby. I can even link you to them if you doubt it. Surprise

  • Holy crap those are bad! I just can't imagine doing that to a kid! But I know I girl who named her son Fenix. Pronounced Phoenix, but spelled Fenix, I almost fell over when she told me the name.

  • um... yeah... I used to see weird names working at a clinic.  ABC-DE was one of them.  (pronounced AB-SID-E).  Pretty sure the mom couldn't think of a name and went with the alphabet.
  • do you post the same names every week? lol

There were a couple pretty normal names, just really odd spellings. And you have to also remember what the parents backgrounds are. My guess is several were, Asian, Hispanic, and African American often taking names from their culture or native country.

  • Those names sound like the students in my classroom this year!  I had a

Precious Love and an Alyxcia Unik.

  • One of my students has a sister named Precious Love.
