DS wore them for a while. He seemed comfy (he has wide feet) and they were cute. They are very soft and flexible but still have a hard enough soleto be protective walking around outside.
DD has two pairs-the softer soled (smaller?) and harder sole. Both seem like they will be very comfortable.
But beware; they run big (IMO). DD is 12mos old and the 4's (6-12mo) are pretty big on her. Her other pair are a 5 (12-18mo) and they won't fit for a loooong time.
I would check their website (seekairun.com), they usually have great sales. The two pairs we got for DD were 50% off. and shipping is really reasonable.
They are the only shoes that have fit DS's extremely high instep.
My warning: they do not hold up against a crawling baby. Does she walk? DS had a pair of "smaller" that I loved b/c they were so soft, flexible and cute. But in 3 weeks he literally destroyed them from crawling. The store actually took them back. He has sandals in a size 5 (they do run a bit big), and they are falling apart too. We're going to Striderite tomorrow to find something more durable, but of course he just started walking, so dragging the shoes around won't be much of a problem. Just beware of that problem. the leather is very soft and easily destructable.
I love See Kai Run, they are probably my favorite brand of shoes for DD! The soles are hard but very flexible, and the leather is so soft it already feels broken in and it just seems so comfortable for her. I agree, they do run a little big- she is comfortably in her SKR 4s, but is wearing 4.5s in Stride Rite.
