another Kroger bargain

Kroger has mccormick grillmates and spice grinders on sale in the 10/10 sale (you don't have to buy 10).  They are normally over $3 a piece.

 

If you clip coupons, there was a 50 cent off grillmates and a 75 cent off spices coupon for mccormick.  That means you can get a grillmate for free (double coupons) and a spice for 25 cents!  They had neat grinders--cinnamon, cinnamon & sugar, garlic sea salt, pepper blends, etc. 

 Also, Kroger usually takes recently expired coupons--I had some that expired in May and they took them no problem (didn't beep, cashier didn't say anything).

    Something I would like to share if you go to Kroger is a good spice combo is  the Kroger Tuscan Herb (I think it is a $1.00) and it is great on chicken.

    I love it when Kroger has their 10/10 sale and Meijer when they do their buy 10 get the 11th item free.

    About how often do they run these 10/$10 sales?

     

    I'd love to go out and stock up on spices but I don't want to store them while we're renovating.

    Fairly frequently, but they aren't the same items.  Some repeat often--sour cream, salad in a bag, etc--but others are a 1 time thing.  If they go on sale again I'll let you know.
