MIL is so effing BSC

she tried to keep DS's birth certificate. we mailed it to her to take to an ins. office for us so we wouldn't hafta drive 1.5 hours twice just to add DS. We had to ask her to give it back and she tried to keep it.?

?

?

and if she calls and wakes him up one more time i'm disconnecting the phone. anyone else's MIL call 2x or more a day?

I never answer either! I told her texting is the only way to reach me.?

Re: MIL is so effing BSC

  • Why would she think it makes sense for HER to keep it when shes that far away???

They are friggin insane. ALL OF THEM!!! I told my mother she better never drive my brothers wife crazy someday.. (hes only 13 now but I'm warning her well ahead of time!!)

    exactly!?

  • My IL's call DH twice or MORE a day. He won't answer unless it's his day off and that pisses them off so much. He tells them that if it's important leave a message and we'll call them. They don't leave messages but will call 20 effing times in a row. I put the phone off the hook all the time and let them call DH's cell phone lol.

They also both get on the phone at ONCE to talk to DH like he's 4. That is what kills me the most. No matter how many times DH tells them they still do it.

  • That is freaking weird!

  • my MIL creeps me out b/c she always holds DS up against her chest and keeps saying "look at him, look at him" when he does his hungry routine (which he always does when held laying down against a boob- the reason why we hold him seated now unless it is time to eat or sleep)... it is like she can't stand that he isn't hers to nurse.

she is also getting too pushy... tried to take him OUT OF MYHANDS when I was going to nurse him and asked if he could just wait a bit so she could show him to her friends  - and last night kept encouraging her husband to keep holding him even though he was swaddled and ready for bed and we kept saying "it is past his bedtime".

Why can't he just talk to his parents? Are they crazy or something? Maybe they call so much because he will never answer the phone. I really hope DS doesnt treat me this way. I don't even want to think how much that would hurt that my son will only talk to me on his days off. I mean, they are his parents, not his job.

  • Yeah, I can't imagine treating my parents like that either.  Then again, they don't act all crazy.  I don't know how you get back to "normal" once everybody's acting all jacked up like that.
