ok, I get pretty good picture clarity during the day with my camera considering the pictures I took of the guys at the plate are from the bleachers. But once night time rolls around, I/my camera turn to a POS. I have no idea what setting to put it on or what the deal is.
night everything turns blurry and distorted..I know it may have to do with the lights in the background, but I don't know what to do to couteract it! FWIW, I'm stupid with cameras!
EDIT: sorry the photo's were huge!
Re: photography girls-I need help!
I can't see your pictures
What type of camera do you have?
Chances are, it's something as simple as increasing your ISO sensitivity/setting.
It looks like there's a specific setting on that camera that should fix some of your low-light issues.
NightShot? Infrared System
Sony?s NightShot? system provides infrared illumination for shooting in near-dark or totally dark conditions without using a flash -- so you can capture sleeping children, nocturnal animals and creative night scenes that lie beyond the power of conventional cameras.
That AND it says, on the website, that you can set your ISO as high as 3200. Which is really, really high. That should help as well. I wouldn't suggest setting it that high because it will likely cause your image to be pretty noisy with grain and such, but try setting it around 1000. I'm sure you can just click on the menu button on the back of the camera to get to the setting where you can change that.
I'm not familiar with that camera but I hope you'll be able to fix the issue!
