take a break from it all

Well ladies..I think we've decided to take a long break from the whole baby and foster care thing. I realized last night when I was feeling severely depressed that I'd let this whole baby thing become my entire life for over a year now. I think I reallly need to take some time and find somethings OTHER than babies that will make me happy and relax a bit. Its sad when you realize your entire life is revolving around one thing that just isn't working...besides the fact that financially it makes sence ....I guess its time to reprioritize and gain some sanity. I hope I can still visit and check in on everyone and hope to be back here in the near future.

I hope that your break gives you the peace of mind that you deserve. Believe everyone on here knows just how consuming this process can be and only you can decide when and how to create the family that you deserve. Take care and BIG HUGS

thanks..this is a really hard decision and not one i wanted to make....i really realy wanna keep going.....but its taking its toll on me and i can't keep being depressed about this all the time its not good on joe either....so yeah....besides the fact we dont' have the money to really pursue things the way that we should....

I have also been there. Its almost as if after losing a baby ( or babies), you HAVE to prove that you CAN carry a healthy baby to term...( at least that was true for me). After losing our last baby we did take a break from TTC, but when we could start again was ALL that I thought about. Over the last 2 months, I have laxed ALOT. Decided to go back to school, and work on the house, and getting out of the military. If we happen to be blessed with a baby, then we'll be ecstatic, but if it doens't happen for a while, we're ok with that too. Good Luck to you, and I hope you find what you're looking for.
