  Blessings of a Skinned Knee is a great all around parenting book.

  I have also heard good things about Love and Logic, but haven't read it yet.

  We have Love and Logic. I like the ideas in the book. It's very similar to how I deal with my students. It's seems hard to implement the ideas right now b/c of the language issue but I'm looking foward to being able to use it in the near future.
