    I use a teasing comb, but probably a bumpit would be less damaging. At this point, my hair isn't worth salvaging, so I won't waste the mulah :)

    Well, bumpits would get tangled up in my rat's nest, but my sister uses them.  Actually, she attempted to use them.  She has super thick hair, and even her hair didn't cover the bumpit.  It made her hair poof, but you could see the black plastic piece.
