need help with my skin!

my pregnancy caused total havoc on my face, shoulders, and back.  it's like i've hit puberty again, only its 10x worse this time, and it still hasn't gotten any better.  can anybody recommend your skincare products?

    Good Luck.  I went to the dermo, and they haven't helped either.  sigh.

    I don't know if you'd want to take this....but I was on Accutane when I was in highschool.  It can cause some pretty nasty birth defects if you get pregnant while taking it.  So most docs insist you are on some form of BC, at least that's how it was a few years ago.  But I tried ALL the topical treatments and this was the only thing that worked.  What about that stuff that Jessica Simpson advertises....don't remember what it's called.

    This sounds weird, but I read somewhere that Head and Shoulders has something in it (sulfur?) that helps take care of acne.  You just use it in the shower like you would soap.  I've tried it this time because I did have some issues with my last pregnancy, and it has actually done a pretty good job.  Worth a shot!

    I had awful skin right after delivery.  Dove soap is the only cleanser I ever use on my face.  I used Stridex pads to treat the acne after delivery.  I love Clinique Moisture Surge moisturizer.  It took about 6 weeks for my skin to clear up.  Darn hormones!

    I swear by Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap. You can use it for your body and face (plus lots of other uses.) It's very gentle and all natural (it's just a pure castille soap) but the peppermint oil in it kills bacteria safely. My acne is finally going away!

    I have had bad acne after having DD. I had it in high school, too, and the only thing that worked was an 8-month round of Accutane. I kept it under control from then on until I was pg with ProActiv (which I actually really like, even with all the cheesy endorsements). But after DD it hasn't gotten better so next month I am starting another round of Accutane. It sucks, and I have to do all these types of birth control and get blood drawn monthly and stuff. So I hope you are able to avoid it. For me, it was just that nothing else helped.
