Hi girls!

Have anyone of you defrosted your wedding cake topper for your one year anniversary? What did you do? Some sites say to put it in the fridge 2 days before eating it and others say 1. What to do.?

We put ours in one day before. It was still a little firm in the middle, but edible.

We threw ours away, DH thought it was gross to eat wedding cake that has been in the freezer for a year. So no anniversary cake...

i think if we decide to eat it sunday night, i will put it in the fridge saturday morning. then take it out on sunday 3 hours before we eat. I hope its good

Make sure you remove it from the box (it if is in a box) before defrosting (otherwise it will taste like the box). We removed it the night before our 1 year anniversary and allowed it to thaw to room temperature.

It was delicious!!

I had our in the fridge for 2 days and out (in a cake container) at room temp for one day. It tasted the same as a year ago.
