i think it is the breastfeeding. and apparently i had pretty strong abs because the OB commented on how much they had to shove to get him out during the c/s and told me i hadn't spent enough time on the couch during my pregnancy. trust me, i did spend most of my time there.
You had a c/s? you look fantastic!!! how has the recovery been?
Recovery has sucked a little bit. My mom was here for the first week, so it was great - she served me breakfast, lunch and dinner and cleaned up a lot. Now my inlaws are here... I do more cleaning than they do and they want to hold my baby all the time.
I'm not as sore anymore, but honestly the worst part is getting into, laying in and getting out of bed.
The actual c/s was not as bad as I thought it would be. I was terrified, but it was fine.
The worst parts in the first few days: the gas pains, the burning a few inches around the incision and getting up and around.
The worst parts once I got home: pooping for the first time. TAKE YOUR STOOL SOFTENER and maybe ask for a prescription one to take home. I can't imagine what it would be like if I hadn't been taking mine and kind of wish they had given me a better one to take at home.
wow, you can't even tell you had a baby! you look incredible! thanks for posting! you are my inspiration! if you don't mind me asking, how much weight did you gain, and are you bf-ing?
