I wanted to be a lawyer. Somewhere along the road someone joked about me being one for one reason or another, so that's what I wanted to be.

TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
First, I wanted to be a nurse, like my mommy. Then, I wanted to be a hairdresser. Then a lawyer. Then a politician. And soon I'll be on a teaching career path, which is what I think is ultimately for me.
From the time I was 6 until about 10, every Thanksgiving and Christmas, when my cousins would come over, I would set up my room as a classroom and "teach" them. I actually prepared lesson plans and everything...
When I was young, I wanted to be either a stripper or a gas station attendant. haha Yeah, Mom still loves to tease me about my career goals. :-) I thought taking off your clothes for money, or standing around pumping gas both sounded super easy. This is back in the day of full-serve gas stations.
By HS, I wanted to be a geneticist, but the chemistry did me in. Since I was about 18, though, all I've wanted to be was a SAHM. Scary thing is I thought I was ready at age 18, too.

I didn't want to grow up. Not the Peter Pan sort of way, but I thought being a kid was a pretty sweet deal. But, I did fancy...
a ballerina (that's what all five year olds say I'm assuming, because my three cousins wanted the same thing) age5ish
a model (I thought I had the stand still forever pose down pat and actually posed in a window of a GAP store while we were shopping. The gals started hanging clothes on me for fun) 8ish
a dentist (cause they let me push the pretty buttons at my dentist's office) 9-14ish
I wanted to be a teacher, which I will hopefully be going to school to become shortly. I so wanted to teach kindergarten then. Now, no way! I'm all about the older grades - 3rd-5th.

A nurse or a teacher. I have 2 sisters and 1 is a nurse and 1 is a teacher.
My BIL wanted to be a "worker". We still tease him since he's never really had a job, that some day he'll grow up and be a worker.
