Shredders... anyone with bad knees?

I've always had bad knees, but since having a baby (and walking up and down stairs in my house many times a day, and bending over/kneeling on the floor to play with DS) they're definitely worse. ?Add shredding to the equation, and my knees are really feeling crappy this past week or so. ?

Anyone else with bad knees trying to shred? ?Any suggestions? ?I know my knee position is correct when?exercising?because I'm hyper vigilant about it.

  • I don't know if shredding is a good idea if you already have bad knees.  A lot of those moves are high stressors due to what she is trying to accomplish in 20 minutes.   If you still want to shred, definitely wear knee braces or something.

  • I do, and I tried the shred and my knee can't take it. Even with a brace. Sucks!
  • Dammit! I just looked at the shred today and decided I wanted to try it and thought the same thing. I had surgery for a torn ACL years ago, so my knees aren't great plus pregnancy has made them even worse (all my joint are still aching), and I was wondering if I could take the workout. I guess not. ::sigh::

That's what I was afraid of. ?Back to yoga, crunches, and power walking.?

  • My knees are crap and I've been fine with it...just hear extra crunching and crackling.
