I imagine the number of comments pregnant women receive each day around the world is staggering. I think we should have the legal right to throat punch people when they say insensitive, uncalled for, unnecessary, rude, mean, hurtful, you-name-it-kind of comments to a pregnant woman.
___________
My comment of the day:
Stranger: "When are you due, any day now?"
Me.: "September"

Re: Pregnant women should have legal rights to throat punching.
my entire pregnancy people have told me how huge i am and yesterday someone finally told me i looked small for how far along i was. i wanted to hug her and then i got worried because i started thinking..."am i really too small? i wonder if everything is okay...hmmm"
i guess it doesnt really matter what people say we are going to find something wrong with it
This is true. Gotta love the hormones in overdrive!

One of my coworkers no longer calls me by my name. She calls me "Belly." Yeah, that's right.
I'm also sick of people telling me how "well I'm carrying" the pregnancy/weight/baby, etc. It is a compliment, yes. BUT, I have been really struggling to eat enough and gain enough weight and with a lot of other health issues, so having people tell me that I look good so everything is healthy and my doctors don't know what they are talking about is NOT supportive.
Stranger: When are you due?
Me: July 31st
Stranger: Oh my gosh! That's gonna be a huge baby!!!
