To those that recommended your Dyson Animal

We got an awesome deal on one last night. Originally $600 at Kohls. We got it for $350. (We could have gotten it for $280 had we waited until tomorrow to buy it, but we'll be in the hospital tomorrow.)

So, we came home and used it right away and we were dumbfounded. DH vac'd just one rug and you should have seen how much nasty dog hair it picked up. It was hair that had probably been there 5 years since we've had our dog. The house instantly felt cleaner and smelled better.

YAY!!!! It was worth every penny, so thanks!!

    Sooo jealous... I've been trying to talk DH into a Dyson for years now, but he doesn't see what all the fuss is about.  :(

    (Pssst, for those who are considering getting one - the Animal has the same suction power, even on pet hair, as the "regular" model. Just has more attachments. FYI!)

    I love my Dyson Animal...and with two dogs is a necessity!  Glad it worked for you..wait until you see what it does on your car interior.

    I wish there was a way to rent one.  DH won't let us get one because he doesn't see what the fuss is either.  If I could rent one and show him, he would be so surprised, I think.

    DH and I have the Dyson Ball and it works great on pet hair too. I couldn't imagine having another vacuum. I love having the washable HEPA filter.

     We got it at Kohls. Starting tomorrow they have them on sale for $399 marked down from $600. (At least in central VA where we live.) I have a Kohls credit card so they sent me a %15 coupon. However, if you open a charge card they will give you a 15% discount on the spot. Totally worth opening one. AND starting tomorrow you can earn Kohls cash on purchases. The lady told us if we had waited until tomorrow we could have earned $80 worth of Kohls cash to use later. Unfortunately we couldn't wait because I'm having my c-sect tomorrow AND I just had to get rid of the dog hair before the baby came home.

    Good to hear! DH & I saw an animal ball one and decided that's the one we want. He's got a bunch of Home Depot gift cards from his job and that's what we're going to spend it on. Glad to hear so many people have used one and like it - it makes me feel not so sick spending that much money on it!! (even though it's in gift cards)

    I wish we could afford one... even at the half off price. But we can't. And my dog sheds everywhere!!!

    This.  We were so anxious to get ours with wedding money and BB&B was out of the Animal ones so we went online and did research, they are all the same vacuum, just with different attachments.  We ended up with the allergy one I think.

    Aww, I'm glad you like it! DH and I were so excited to get ours home that we figured there was no way it was going to live up to our expectations.. except it did and I will never own another brand of vacuum. Although we probably won't have to buy one for years to come because that sucker is STURDY! For the ladies whose husbands don't think it's worth the money- you'll be able to say "I told you so" when they finally break down and buy one and realize that they should have had one all along. Here's a good way to rationalize, if it helps: for regular vacuums (example: a Bissell I had) you have to replace the filters. We had 4 filters to replace on ours, so that was about 40 bucks every time. The reuseable/washable filters in the Dyson are enough to save you 80 bucks/year alone!

    I bought the full size dyson a couple weeks ago and I'm in love.  Its the best thing ever and now I feel like my house is clean for baby to come home too!  It really makes the biggest difference!!

    Forgot to mention... I had mine delivered to my work where I am one of 2 females.  ALL the men in the office were so excited and jealous.  They all commented on it and it made me laugh that they all knew about a vaccuum!  Thought it was funny

    DH couldn't understand the fuss either, but we recieved one as a wedding gift, and now he raves about it and calls it the best vaccuum ever!! He even convinced my BIL that it was worth it to get one for their house, and now my SIL is so happy with hers too!

    We are planning to get one.

    What's weird is that khol's regular price for the dyson ball 25 is $50 more than BB&B.  We are going to use our 20% off coupon at BB&B to get it.
