No coconut thought b/c MIL and "Memaw" don't like it. I'm so glad what was supposed to just be two people coming over to see the nursery and grill has now turned into 4 people and a birthday celebration.

Here is my easiest cake recipe. Please note, you must follow to a T to get the best results:

Go to grocery store.

Go to bakery.

Find chocolatey goodness.

Put in cart.

Check out

Enjoy.

if you make it, the warning about the batter being thin is right - it will look funny at first, like you're making a really thick chocolate milk-type concoction. but it turns out perfectly. (hence the name, i'm guessing)

My favorite is chocolate peanut butter cake.

1 package devil's food cake, 1 cup creamy peanut butter, 1 tablespoon canola oil, and 1 16oz can of chocolate frosting.

Prepare cake according to package directions in a 13x9x2 inch baking pan.

In a bowl, combine peanut butter and oil until smooth, and spread over warm cake. Cool completely on a wire rack.

Heat frosting in microwave until pourable, about 20 seconds. Pour and spread over peanut butter layer. Let stand until set.

Watermelon Cake!

White Cake mix, a pack of watermelon Jello.

Add the jello pack to the cake mix and then follow all the other directions like normal.

Then you decorate it like this!

OK, so that's a bad picture of an ugly one, but they can be really cute! Just use chocolate chips as the seeds, and white icing and food coloring for all the colors.

Kinda like the watermelon cake but its called Jello Cake. Bake white cake mix as directed. 13X9 or two layers. Poke cake with fork or straw & pour jello (any flavor, made as directed on box) over cake, cool & top with whipped cream. It's very light & great tasting. If you make two layers, you can two different flavors. My fav flavors are lime & strawberry or raspberry.
