No Nekked Baby!

So I saw a post on here I think yesterday, someone asking about what outfit their LO should wear for photos, and everyone's response was " naked, naked babies are the best."

Yeah DH doesn't want that. He says it's weird. And yet if it's "weird", why is it every Photographer's website I have looked at have nothing but nekked baby pictures?

    I know! I'm pretty sure everyone thinks they are adorable. I did ask, and he didn't give me a good enough answer. I'm not dressing my newborn for every picture.

    I can't wait to have photos of my naked baby!  Of course I'm not going to zoom in on his penis or anything, so I feel fine about it.

    I like the shots of baby lying on his belly, where his butt and feet are a bit blurry. Naked, but not so bad since the bum is out of focus.

    Now if I could just figure out how to control the F-stop on my digital camera so that I can get a handle on depth of field. Grrr...

    My sis is going to be taking a bunch of our baby pics and I already told her that I don't care if she does the naked baby ones (I trust her completely and know they aren't going to end up looking nasty) and that i'd actually prefer it so I didnt have to find all sorts of really cute outfits (especially since I don't want to smother my baby in pink), so I don't have to worry about keeping certain outfits super super clean, and because it's just going to be easier to not have to keep changing her. lol

    My DH thinks its kinda weird also. He'll get over it, just make sure you take a few with clothes so he has a cute one for his wallet or whatever. Smile

    Clothes just don't seem  to fit babies very well when they are young.  And in pictures they can be so distracting.  The collars are usually around their chins and the focus isn't the precious baby it's the clothes.  I normally photograph newborns naked and then do a few with clothes on for grandparents.
