I want to bake a test cake in the next day or two, but I really don't need extra cake sitting around waiting for me to eat. there is a house down the street from me where 4 men live. They all have some sort of developmental disability or perhaps a brain injury. The men live together and pretty much walk around the neighbourhood or to the grocery store and back all the time. I never see any care workers there. Would it be nice of me to take the extra cake to them? I can't see that they get a lot of home baked goodies and what man doesn't like cake? On the other hand, as I don't know the extent of their disabilities I would hate to give them something that could jeopardize a specific diet.
I am totally overthinking this. I should just give them the cake.

I would find out exactly what kind of group home it is. The last thing you want to be doing is bringing a cake over for the resident sex offenders.
