    Two or three of the groups I'm in have a charge ($10?), but I've never actually paid any of them and no one has asked me for the money. I think that might be something the website automatically posts or it might only come up once a year. I doubt anyone will be trying to collect the first time you go to a meeting. Just go, meet people, and have some fun!

    OOh! The only ones that I know of that DO charge are the stroller strides groups. They're a franchise business and do workouts for Mommys in parks and rec centers.
