Question/comments you should never ask/tell a pregnant girl!

1) Over the past two weeks I've got asked two questions that you should not ask a pregnant stranger. While getting my eyebrows waxed, the girl was talking about being pregnant and such. She then proceeds to ask me how much weight I've gained. Um...none of your buisness, but I was polite and answered. She then says "Has your doctor told you to that that is a lot of weight?" Thanks biatch.
2) While shopping for the remainder of DH's fathers day present, the store clerk asks when I'm due and I say 9 days. Then he comes back with "Are you having twins?" Really a-hole...do I look that big? I wanted to say "No, I have an approx 7lb human in my belly that's why my belly is large!" But, again I politley answered "No".
It seriously makes the think that people do not think before they speak.

WTF - I would have punched him clear in the nose and blamed it on 'the hormones'!!
I think you look beautiful and not at all like you're having twins, he was probably trying out a new dry humour thing which I think you were too polite about in responding. I am currently TTC, though only a month so a way to go yet, and I hope I have a perfect little bump like yours! :-)

1) I agree you're way too nice. I would have never answered that question about the weight gain. I mean really, what business is it of hers.
2) And men are totally stupid when it comes to pregnancy!
And I agree with the pp you look great, you're ALL belly! We should all be so lucky to look like you when we're pg! GL!

You're way too nice, I know I would have yelled at both of them. How rude, seriously. You do not look like you're having twins, you look like you're supposed to, and you're lucky you didn't get pregnant all over (my mom did, so I probably will).
I think people are just plain rude when it comes to women and the possibility that they could be pregnant. My Dr. put me on Depo for my endometriosis and I gained about 60 pounds in a year...people were always asking me if I was pregnant or "When are you due?" Ugh.
I've lost about 50 pounds in the last year and a half and someone at our church totally within my hearing asked DH if I had a miscarriage. The only reasons I didn't start yelling at him for being horribly insensitive were the fact that 1. we were in the sanctuary and 2. he's old and on medications that make him a little off.
i think you look lovely! if you erase your belly on the picture, it doesn't even look like you are pregnant!
those two are just plain rude and clearly have no experience with pregnancy!
a coworker was asked no fewer than 3 times if she was having a multiple birth. finally she snapped. i can't believe people think those are acceptable questions to ask.

I was asked this past Christmas at a party when I was due!!!!! except that I was not pregnant and we had not started TTC yet!! I was so mortified. My Best friend assured me that I wasn't "fat" it was just that the wrap sweater I was wearing was a bit deceiving...... Under different circumstances I can't wait to be able to answer that question because I REALLY am pregnant! We have only been TTC for 3 months, but hopefully soon!! (:
