Do you like it? Most days. Today I don't. I just had a 12 year old who was 7 months pregnant.

I'm an estimator for an industrial construction company. We build landfills. I like it ok because it pays well, is kinda flexible in that if I have a dr.'s appt I don't have to use sick time or vacation time to go, even if it takes a half day. I love the people I work with too!
If I could do it all over again, I would probably have gone into 'hospitality management' or at least that's what I think they call it. I used to work as a concierge at a retirement community, and I absolutely loved all the interaction. I also think I'd enjoy working in physical therapy. All in all, I'd want a job that has me working more directly with people. Right now I just hang out in my cubicle all day and work over a set of plans.

I was a teacher, but recently had to quit due to health issues (pain, all over, I can't teach while in pain all day! lol) I am now a stay at home wife until I can get this resolved.
I loved being a teacher, but it was really hard somedays. The people that I worked with were not so nice and very two-faced. Now that I don't work, I obviously like it, but I am trying to meet people, and it is hard right now with my health issues. It was great getting some social time everyday.

I'm in financial services compliance.
Overall, I pretty much hate it because I've realized within the past year that this is not what I want to do. ?I love most of the people I deal with, but it's not a very happy job. ?At least three people a week point out that I'm never calling with good news. ?It's kind of draining in that respect.

What is your job? Currently a SAHW until Josh is born but I was a teaching assistant for elementary special ed. I'm going to substitute teach next year part-time and be a SAHM. Next school year I plan on hopefully getting another TA job so that I can do my student teaching and practicum and get paid for it!
Do you like it? Loved the job and the kids, HATED the teacher I worked with. I'm the 10th TA she has had in 8 years if that tells you anything.
If you could be something else, what would you be? I would love to be a music or art teacher but the demand is so limited. I'm getting my certification in PreK-6 and would love to be a 2nd grade teacher.
