No one should have to work in the last 2 weeks of pregnancy

So I called today and said I am not feeling well (I haven't felt well for the last 8 months ha!) I feel a little guilty but I am just so tired and achy. This is my last week and I am so tempted to just never go back!

  • Good for you!  I can't wait for your little guy to finally get here.

  • Amen Sister!  But I need the leave for when she gets here so I am toughing it out.  I have about 10 things (probably 2-3 days of work if I can stop nesting and getting interupted with other tasks to handle) that must be done before I go on leave and then I plan on getting really lazy for the last few days (hopefully there won't be too many more days ; )

  • Yep I understand your pain!  This is my last week at work, and I actually can't wait!  I am so swollen in my feet and calves that just getting out of my chair soemtimes is a real PIA!

  • I whole-heartedly agree.  I planned to work up until week 39 but by week 37 my back and stomach were killing me, especially from the commute.  So I was home week 38 on.  Enjoy!
