3rd Trimester

37+ weeks...what do you still have to get done before LO?

I have gotten so much done but I still feel like have so much to do. Mainly clean my house and my car out. I can barely walk due to my sciatic nerve which really complicates the to-do-list. Good thing that we got the majority of baby related work done before this kicked in. Just wondering what other's have left to do at this point?

  • I could clean the house again, but we'll just see if I have energy for that. Basically nothing left to do... but PUSH! Big Smile

  • The only thing on my to-do list was to clean the house really well before LO arrives...but that's not gonna happen now due to the fact that our a/c unit is broken and we're staying at my parent's house all week.  It's getting fixed on Friday, and I'm being induced Friday night...nice timing huh???  So, we'll be coming home to a dirty house...guess that's life!

  • - Install the car seat (on DH's list for this week)

    - Pack the dog a bag to go stay with my dad while we are in the hospital (food, snacks, leash, etc.)

-Go to SAMS CLUB and stock up on pre made meals, paper goods, etc.

I really think that is it, I accomplished a lot this past weekend!

  • we just hired our cleaning lady back for the summer- thankfully! i'd been cleaning since i haven't been working, but last time i tried a couple weeks back, i was just over it! 9 mos pg and cleaning a huge house- not fun.

only thing i really need/want to get done at this point is stocking up the freezer with some food to last us a bit for dinners. other than that i think we're as ready as we're doing to be at this point!

  • Install car seat, put bassinet together, pack hospital bag for me and bag for DD who is going to a neighbors in case I go early.

That's it. House is crazy clean, baby clothes are washed. All is ready!?

  • NOTHING.  Absolutely nothing.  Her room has been organized and REorganized.  My pregnancy scrapbook is completely up to date...I have 12 meals frozen in the freezer that I cooked on Saturday.  There is not one more ounce of anything I could do.  Which drives me crazy, because she isn't here yet!!!!

  • Have to return a swaddler and exchange a mirror for the car that works (the lights and music don't come on). Then going to buy a miracle blanket.

Buy a few odds and ends - stuff like mylicon drops.

    Finish packing bag.

I've made about 8 meals for the freezer, I'd like to get a few more in there.

  • I will be 37 weeks this week. My DS is still in the nursery upstairs. I am painting a ledge in his room downstairs and then I can really start moving his clothing and stuff to his new room. I have been having BP issues and was told to try to relax as much as possible. It's very hard with a toddler and work to be done. I am trying to do a little bit at a time.

  • Dude, I'm going to have so much to do. My shower isn't until 37 weeks and I've been told not to buy very much.

    Crying

  • Mainly clean and organize my house. Oh yeah...and put floors in. Confused

We tore up our carpet 8 weeks ago to lay hardwoods only to find a huge foundation crack. We have to repair it and lay floors now that the engineer has finally approved us against any major structural defects to the house. Right now we have concrete floors wall to wall except in the bedrooms.

  • EVERYTHING is done....just trying to keep the house cleaned!!
  • My ridiculously long to-do list is the only thing that is keeping me sane at this point. I have several OCD cleaning projects on the list (at least they're OCD for me, I don't usually clean the exhaust fan in the kitchen or wash all the windows in my house that I can reach), we're buying a car this week so I've been busy calling loan officers trying to find the best interest rate, I'm working on the l&d playlist still, and though I've made a few freezer meals I still want to make a few more. Other than that I mostly just want to keep things clean and picked up so the house is nice when we leave for the hospital. The busier I am the less focused I am on every little twinge and bh contraction I feel. I am also still working, so that helps keep me busy too.
  • I've been out of work for a while now and nesting like crazy!  So the house has been cleaned, re-cleaned, and re-cleaned... all of LO's things are set up and ready to go... all of our bags are packed and even already in the truck because we had a false alarm run to the hospital this past weekend!  Now I just go through the every day tasks of keeping up with our laundry, dishes, and light housekeeping... but other than that we are ready to go!!!  Come on baby!!!  Big Smile
  • *Install car seat base in DH's car (mine too, but his will be the one we take the hospital)

*Pack hospital bag for me and DH (baby's is done)

    *Keep the house clean

*Keep up on laundry  (Heh.  I'm doing my best...)

  • Nothing major... keep the house clean, keep up with the laundry, finalize birth plan, etc.  I should make freezer meals, but I'm not sure I'll get around to it (or if we're really worried about having them in the first place).
  • clean, pack a bag, sterilize a couple of bottles and pacifiers... idk... car seat...
  • I haven't gotten any decorations (wall art, etc.) for the nursery...not a necessity but still it feels unfinished!
