Did you get a basinet attachment and car seat?

in 3rd Trimester
At my last appointment my LO was weighing in at 5 pounds 4 ounces. So I'm thinking that I should just go ahead and get the larger Graco seat that accommodates the larger babies. I'm also wondering about the bassinet attachment for the stroller. I swear there's always something else you can buy. LOL. Did you get both a car seat and bassinet?

    No, I have the Zippy too and I didn't see a need for both.

    nope. unless you are using your stroller a TON, there's no need for all those contraptions. so long as the baby fits one way safetly, you are fine.

    Our stroller came with the bassinet attachment but we rarely used it.  It was much easier to use the car seat in the stroller frame so that we could pop it in and out of the car and be on our way.  Baby seemed more comfortable in the more upright position while being transported around as well.

    We got a travel system...I think it holds a child from 6-20 pounds.

    Mine came with the bassinet...I don't know if I would pay extra to have it though...

    We had the option of buying the bassinet and did not. I rarly used it with dd (didn't have one with ds). She didn't like laying down in it past 6 or 7 weeks (she liked to be up just a little). Plus I tend to wear them a lot when they are small and not really use the stroller a whole lot until they are older.

    We do have the carseat attachment, but again we only use the carseat with the stroller once in awhile, like the baby is sleeping and I am running into the post office. Otherwise we just put them baby in the stroller with it reclines or wear them.

    yes- we have the quinny zapp, and i really like the bassinet part. we have that, the car seat (maxi cosi mico) and then the regular stroller/toddler seat.
