Bro and SIL having a baby today - such mixed feelings

My SIL is being induced as we speak with DC #2.  I'm happy for them, but just so sad for DH and I (he's pretty bummed too).  This pregancy has been hard on me - thankfully they live several hours away and I've probably only seen her about 4 or 5 times since she's announced her BFP last fall.

Since then, my mantra has been "I just hope I'm pregnant before M has the baby....I just hope I'm preganant before M has the baby."  So much for that -I just had a c/p after IVF #1 earlier this month.  Sigh.  I hate these feelings.  IF sucks!!!  When is it my turn???  Sorry for the vent.

    I'm so sorry girl.  But I do have hope for you.  Hang in there.  You WILL be a Mom.

    I'm sorry!  I am really having a hard time also comparing myself to others and their pregnancies and babies and setting these "deadlines" like that...it's just so hard not to.  It WILL be your turn soon though...hugs.

    After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

    Thanks ladies - she was just born.  I cried after I got off the phone with my bro.  Fertile, and an easy delivery!  Sigh.

    I am happy to meet my new neice though....just hope I can give her some cousins someday.  :-)
