Bucks County- Dr. recs- St. Mary's

I'm looking to switch drs to a practice that delivers at St. Mary's.  (NO- I'm not pg-  just looking to switch for when we decide for #2)  I've researched and narrowed it down to the following.  Does anyone have any experience with either of these practices?:

Thomas O?Malley, Jr.

Lee Halpern, MD

Stephen Cleary, MD

David DeFillippis, MD

or this one:

Women?s Specialists of Bucks County

Jerrold Snyder, DO

Richard Turner, DO

Or if you have any other experiences for drs. that deliver at St. Mary's.

Thanks!!

I have recently started lurking over here.........anyway, I went to Dr. Cleary before he left Holy Redeemer.  I loved him!!!  Dr. DeFillippis delivered my daughter, however I don't remember much of the experience because it was an emergency c-section.  A friend of my also went to Dr. Halpern and loved her.  HTH.

Many of my coworkers and friends have recommended Cleary, DeFillipis, Halpern, & O'Malley.  I just had my first visit with them and saw Cleary.  He was super nice!  One of best friends sees Halpern all the time and loves her.  I heard that DiFillipis and O'Malley are great too.  I was sooo pleased with my decision to go there.  The office is beautiful, easy to get to from parking, and all of the staff members that I met were very friendly.  I plan on staying with them and using this team when my husband and I start TTC.

I have 3 friends that go to Halpern and love her...my only problem with her is how she loves to prescribe meds before looking into anything further...for example: all three friends (ages 25-28) were put on fertility drugs with in 5 months of going off the pill b/c they weren't getting pregnant "fast enough". To me, thats bad medecine. JMO of course. Like I said, all 3 of friends like her and still go to her. Good Luck!

I had to switch doctors too, having just bought a house across from St. Mary's. I go to Women's Specialists of Bucks County and see Dr. Snyder, Dr. Turner and Dr. Rothberg. I haven't met Dr. Rothberg yet, I meet him at my next appointment on the 27. So far (I've had only one appointment with each Snyder and Turner) I'm comfortable with them and their staff. They are very friendly and quick to answer any questions I have, no matter how small or stupid I may think they are. I've called the office a couple times with some general questions and the ladies at the front desk were helpful too. I was a blubbering idiot when we heard the heart beat and Dr. Snyder just smiled, he didn't make me feel like an idiot for crying. Hope this helps your decision. :) Good Luck to you!

I go to Bucks County OBGYN in Floral Vale and both Dr Sliwinski's are fantastic! I've been going there for years and they've delivered a number of my friends babies as well....
