Anyone have alot of contractions yet at 35 weeks?

I have been having them for a while. My doc isnt concerned. we did a NST last Monday and everything was ok. No pattern to them he said and my cervix was shut and thick etc. But im just wondering if anyone around 35 weeks is having alot of pain/contrractions/cramping? Obviously I want her to wait to make her arrival to be healthy.. I just get a little nervouos.. this is our 2st baby.. Thanks Ladies!

  • I'm having contractions but I don't really feel them so they're not very strong. the only reason I know is because I had one at the doctors office....I'm 1-2 cm and 60% effaced though and have a history of early births (our first LO was born at 36 weeks).

  • I was just getting BH's for a while. No pain just tightening and etc. but now it has turned to pain. Its just a little nerve wracking because I have no idea what is "real" and what isnt. you know. plus im a little neurotic too!

  • For the last two days I have had lots of back pain.  It feels like menstrual pain but it has gotten better today.  Last night was painful sleeping.
  • I started with the painful cramping (low like menstrual cramps) that wrapped around my back and radiated to my lower thighs at 30.5 wks.  I had them for a week solid, the first night for over 12 hours and for the next several days for a few hours at a time.  They were timeable and regular.  Dr had me come in after the first night to be checked and my cervix was not dilated but I was thinning just a little.  This week I have not had any at all.

I asked the board about them and another lady had been having something similar since 30 wks and her dr said he'd seen women start having contractions that early and still go to 39 wks.
