I did IVF and transferred 3 embies.  All three stuck as I learned when I saw the 3 heartbeats on my first u/s at 6w1d.

You won't know until you get an u/s -- when is yours?

my FIRST appointment isn't until the 29th, im guessing they'll do a u/s at that time...

  • yep, you won't know until you have an u/s

some of us just "knew"....like for me I got a BFP at 8DPO and it was DARK DARK DARK...we were originally pregnant w/ triplets but lost one at around 10-11 weeks

  • we found out at 10 weeks when they did an ultrasound because i have a tilted uterus. it explained why i had such extreme morning sickness and was soooooooo exhausted. yeah, its pretty rough- i wont lie to you. however, knowing it is two definitely helps! ask your doctor for something for the morning sickness. zofran is great, but fenoragan (that one is phonetically bc i have no idea how to spell it) is awful!!! i still take one zofran in the morning and i am good for the rest of the day. i hope if you work that you have a desk job. i had an on my feet the entire time kind of job and had to quit work at 24 weeks because i could not do it anymore! i had even cut my hours back to 4 hour shifts! anyhow, try not to be depressed because its going to be so worth it!!!!
  • Ours are a surprise and spontaneous... but for some weird reason both hubby and I suspected and joked about it!  I didn't have morning sickness or anything, but I have been really tired.  Actually the day before the u/s when we found out, hubby was worried about how tired I had been and thought something besides pregnancy may have been wrong!  During the u/s I said "how did I KNOW I was going to hear that??"

Another weird thing, our family/friends had also been joking about it being twins. :)

  • I took a test very early and got a positive right away. I had a feeling of twins but I cannot explain why - had no idea there were any twins in my family. We found out early - at about 4 weeks via u/s that there were 2! Of course once we announced it we found out there are twins all over the place on my mom's side - LOL!

  • First off this was my 7th IVF so I had an HCG drawn at 14dpo and it was like 758. Betas don't always mean anything but this one was super high so I knew something was up. Come to find out it was quads but then went down to triplets. I was really tired in the begining and the morning sickness lasted all day every day until13 weeks. Let us know what happens.

oh no hun, i stay at home...but its hard just as well with 2 children...ACTIVE children. i started with symptoms like morning sickness and very ad cramping at 4dpo and got my BFP at 9dpo and there was a clear visable line. im just gonna wait till the 29 to see what they say about my bump, i'll also mention the meds for this LOVELY ANYTIME OF THE DAY sickness. thanks ladies!
