Yes, please. I understand some cultures do this... but I would prefer not to see a photo of it raw and then cooked.
OK, several months ago I was reading a natural birth message board (on LiveJournal) and someone was asking for placenta recipes. I thought they were kidding. I mean, people don't *really* eat their placentas, right? So I started researching it and it's more common then you think! Anyway, I posted about this on another board I post on (yes, my friends and I are pathetic and formed a message board to keep in touch with) and ever since then eating placenta has been a long running joke. I threaten them with "sausage" pizza parties after I give birth. But I still have never actually seen COOKED placenta before. I had to share that post with them.
That's better, but I'm still wondering why anyone would eat something like that. lol However, she DID eat her placenta. She's been talking about it since before her DS was born. Whatever floats your boat, but that is not for me!

I've got a million dollar idea! ?I can go around and collect placentas and cook them or make them into pills or powder (somehow), and market them as an iron-upper at homeopathic stores (ya know where the FDA won't investigate me).
omg jebuell! that's horrible. it looks a sandwich I can get at the deli!

That is a BRILLIANT idea! But unfortunately you are a few years too late. I actually attended a seminar about this a few months ago. There are several companies where you can send your placenta and they will dry it and grind it up and put it in capsules for you. But they only last 72 hours. So if you can get them to last longer then that, you may be rich!

There's not a thing in the world that could be wrong with my hair that I would put cow placenta on it. Not.a.thing.
Just for the record, I never ate my placenta. lol
