B/C question. Anyone try or is using YAZ?

I have just started using it on Sunday. I am noticing subtle changes. I don't know if that is too early to notice changes or if is just me hoping for these changes. I am feeling better about myself, and actually want to have sex. What is you opinion on YAZ?

ETA: I know about all of the risks, my doctor and I discussed them. She said I was perfectly healthy and thinks YAZ is a good fit for me.

    I was on Yaz for 6 months and loved it. I felt great, didn't gain any weight, except it did kill my sex drive (we think). I had a lot of breakthrough bleeding at the end though so I was going to switch to Yasmine. Missed one pill and well, see baby in siggy.

    Can you tell me what you talked to your DR about?  I was thinking of using this too, I've tried like 3-4 different BCP and all of them have made me seriously moody and bitchy (ok more than normal).  I don't really have PMDD no cramps, or anything really bad except bloating when AF comes around.  But I do have a low sex drive.  I also have NO health conditions. 

    Just curious about what your DR said and why it's a good fit for you.

    I'm on it and love it..I had problems with mood swings / PMDD before becoming pregnant with DS and was on Wellbutrin for the longest time, I stopped taking it while I was pg cause I felt great mentally. Once I had DS I still felt great but was afraid the PMDD would come back so my doc put me on Yaz and it had been great so far. I have had a couple times where there were issues with break through bleeding but it has only happened twice since I started it in Nov.

    We talked about the risks such as people developing blood clots, chest pain, etc. (I looked up the reviews on Web md before talking to her) I also was diagnosed with PMDD and this is supposed to help. I was on Celexa and have gone off of it in hopes of YAZ replacing that drug. So far, I love it. Oh, I was on the Nuva Ring before and loved that too. That is something you might look in to.

    I like it bc I lost weight on it. Now that I'm off, there is a 5 lb increase on my scale. :(

    I've been on Yaz since August, and the first 3 months were a *** to get my cycle back in gear, pp. 

    But, I've had no other issues so far.
