No MIL, astrological signs are NOT genetic...

My MIL called the other day because she has been having this feeling that DS will come before Monday when the zodiac sign changes from Gemini to Cancer. She doesn't think we can have a cancer baby because there is nobody in her family that is a cancer, as if it's genetic.

And to top it all off, we are using her father's name as our DS's middle name, who happened to be a gemini, so she thinks that DS is going to reincarnate as him.

    This so sounds like something my MIL would say. I'm so glad I've only talked to her a few times during this pregnancy. Although I can already hear when she comes out for the birth saying how much my LO looks like everyone in DH's family- even if he doesn't. Ugh.

    Y'know, we can conclude unanimously that MIL's are a bigger PIT than hemmrhoids.

    HOWEVER -

    I can only hope that those of you having boys remember alllllllllll these posts when your boys get married Wink so that you can be good MIL's!

    Yes, of COURSE you're having a Gemini. 

    Ugh, this sounds a lot like my MIL, who is convinced DH is completely psychic (which he's not but she's sure of the fact that he is). When I told her the baby would be a Virgo, she gasped, looked at DH and said, "Ooooh, a Virgo? Virgo is a very psychic sign. You and the baby will be able to speak telepathically." WHAT THE HELL, LADY?

    DH just looked at her and said, "Nope. None of this, Mom. Not now. Not ever." I love my husband.
