Congrats on sleepy time....from all the stories I hear from my sister-in-law and all my girlfriends with little ones I am in for it when I become a mom. Have a good one!
I introduced a pillow. It must be a magical pillow, because she started to cry and the minute she felt the pillow, she was fine.
I saw whatever works. You can always remove it once she is asleep if you feel uncomfortable with it in there. DS loves a burp cloth that he likes to rub on his face when he is tired, but I'm not comfortable leaving it in his crib (I'm a frady cat). Once he is asleep I pull it out of his bed and leave it on the front rail. If he wakes up he can get to it, but it isn't in his crib all night long.
I was concerned last night but it's a flat pillow and not very fluffy. Plus she can lift her head without issue. She's slept with a blanket since about six months and sleeps on a pillow if she naps with me, so I'm okay with it for now. But I still go in and check. LOL. I have a video monitor which helps.
Yay!! Glad to hear she's sleeping. I had to put a pillow from my bed ( one that I slept on) in G's crib to get him to start sleeping in his crib. I think they are definitely old enough now.
Ike has slept with a blanket for months now, plus he has Lambie in his crib from Easter (i guess it's his lovie) ) So happy that she was able to go to sleep easier this time )
There's so much stuff in Tessie's crib I just don't even worry about it. She even sleeps with her Spunky over her face (I used to sleep that way too with my bear)!
Yay for good sleeping! I hope this means she's adjusting quickly to the tranisition and this will continue.
Re: And she went to sleep with only moderate crying!!
