Week wise, how far will you be on your shower date?

I'm too early to have people thinking about showers for me yet, but I've been a little worried about this....I'm due mid-Jan... Right after Christmas is a crappy time for a shower, but the month before is just as bad! before that is Thanksgiving...So to have it at a time that's not completely inconvenient, I'd have to have it in early November, when I'll only be 7 mos along...or 6.5? Isn't that too soon??? Seems like it would be a big old jinx....

Since I am not sure when my shower will be - I don;t know how far along I am going to be. But I do know they are just starting planning so I have to think it will be end of July or sometime in August - so I will be around 42 weeks or so give or take a week or two. Its hard since its being planned my Mom and MIl and MIL lives in different state and they are trying to get people to come from NY to PA for the shower.

I was 33 and 34 weeks for the first two. The last one I will be 36. I really didn't want one that late, but wasn't given an option. Well, my in-laws asked when I wanted it, I told them, and they said they didn't like that date. So why did they bother asking. Sorry...little vent.

33 was probably the best one.....I wasn't swelling as much as I am now, and I actually had energy to mingle.

I don't know if I am having one, but my Dad said something that made me think that if I am, I will be 38 weeks. Yikes! The baby may be a guest at the shower : )

Around 30 weeks. A specific date hasn't been set yet, but my girlfriend who's throwing the shower and I already decided on September for the month.

The baby is due the end of November, and September seemed close enough to be appropriate, but still far enough in advance that my hubby can make sure we have everything we need by the time the baby is here.

Plus, for our unique group of friends and family, August is really busy, and so is October, so that pretty much narrowed it down for us...lol
