your DH taking a job as a bartender? Mine just started tonight, and I am not so sure I like the idea. I think a bartending job is more for some single woman than a married man-about-to-be-father.
I wouldn't really like it. More because of the hours than the actual job. However, the tips can be really good. And financially, I would accept it in order to increase our savings.

I used to waitress at a bar, and, yeah, I can understand how it'd get under your skin a little bit, but i wouldn't worry. If you trust him there's nothing to worry about...

I'm with Katie-I wouldn't like it but only because of the hours. The actual job doesn't bother me. Especially if he's working in a busy place and can make some good tips. But what can I say-I'm spoiled by my DH's cushy office job hours.

Its a job i'd like to have!! i hear Tips are great!! so you might not mind soo much once he starts coming home with them!
