i bought new bras

and my boobs look fantastic.  Seriously ladies.  Go buy yourself a new bra.  And get fitted.  Babies do bad bad things to your breasts.  Now that I have weaned DS I want to burn my nursing bras.

I over heard a lady the stall over being fitted.  She said she was a 38 B, the gal with the tape measure told her she was a 44 C.  She couldn't believe it.

    not to sound stupid but you can get fitted for a bra? I've never heard of this. Where can you get it done?

    by fitted I mean measured if I wasn't clear.  You have never been measured before?  Any lingerie store should do it but as they are usually staffed by 17yr old twits I found going to a large (good) department store in the lingerie section and having the ladies that work there do it.

    How much was it, did the fitting cost extra?  I've always wanted to get professionally fitted but it seems they only do that at the really expensive stores. I'm still wearing my nursing bras b/c my boobs have yet to shrink since weaning!

    I avoid Victoria's Secret like the Plague & we don't have a Nordstroms near here... anywhere else?

    Dazidog-Go to The Bay before June ends.  They have a Bra Club.  When you buy 5 bras you get a coupon for a free bra in the mail.  It's a card, so it is cumulative.  You don't need to buy them all at once.  Right now they are having a lot of sales, most buy one get one 1/2 price but some brands are Buy one, get one FREE.  The free ones and 1/2 price ones count for the 5 you need for the free one too.  If you sign up in June you get 10 000 bonus HBC points. 

    And the fitting was free.  I had to wait a few minutes because they only had 1 gal who would do them.  You just go to a stall with her, take off your shirt.  She measures you over your bra you are wearing.  Then she went with me to help me pick out some bras, pointing out some pros and cons etc.  She also helped with adjusting the straps, lol.

    Brookie-Cookie ~ thanks so much for the info.  Perfect timing my FIL is watching DD tomorrow afternoon so I can go buy a dress for an upcoming wedding we are going to.  Guess I'll get some bras while I'm at it:)
