To me Prexy (singular) is the first president of the University of Wyoming who used to keep his sheep out in the campus pasture (it began as an ag college). Now the pasture is known as Prexy's Pasture :) I used to have to walk across it in the snow. They didn't cancel school for ANYTHING!

    I know what you mean. I went to Penn State. I think we've cancelled school about four times in history, mostly because of state mandates on non-essential travel due to weather conditions.

    Wow! In Tennessee we get out of school for a half an inch dusting of snow. I couldn't imagine having all that snow and still going to school.

    People in places that don't routinely measure ice in inches and snow in feet seriously don't understand us.
