1st Trimester

I shouldn't have lifted that!

We are in the process of cleaning out the second floor of our house (we live in DH's grandparent's old house) so that we can turn it into our bedroom and nursery.  Not thinking, I started moving a bunch of heavy boxes around.  When My MIL caught me, she yelled at me and I immediately stopped.  But now my stomach is killing me like I pulled something.  Crap!

I guess this is a good excuse to not do any more chores before DH gets home, right?

  • reminds me of my last pregnancy I was in my 3rd trimester (about 36 or 37 weeks.) and NESTING hardcore-

I had asked sooo many times to have someone clean the shower and move the mattresses (Changing rooms so baby could have the room with the window) Well one day I did both.

And I got chewed the eff out-  no more chores... And yesterday I was just holding a mirror up on the back of the dresser (literally not straining myself in the least bit) and My mom started freaking out on me! (DH was like- she's not lifting anything?" I made my mom switch places with me just to show her... hee hee.

Sorry bout the owchie in your tum tum-

  • I did that very early on.  We were at an event and I was helping to clean up afterward.  We were surrounded by my friends and I didn't want to tell any of them yet.  I tried to pick something up and I felt a pain in my abdomen and realized I probably shouldn't have lifted that.  I asked one of the guys to move it and one of my female friends comes over and lifts it up and makes a comment about it not being that heavy.  Luckily the pain went away a couple of days later, but it was sore for a little while.
