why would someone post about hitting their kid with a stick, and then talk about how they.must.submit. ? I don't get that.
THAT idealogy makes me happy that at least someone 's looking into it, at least the message that it's wrong might sink in. Her added words about "I don't abuse my kids" don't show the greatest amount of insight. Maybe Maury can help her see the light ;-)
Oh god lord, I started reading her things about her kids...you can click on their pictures. So their 19 year old daughter graduated home schooling and works for their dad...
and the mom writes... "She is dedicated to waiting for her future husband to come along through courtship."

somehow this is exactly what I would expect.
I was raised in a very religious/conservative family. I don't have a problem with people making these choices, but I do have a problem when abstinence becomes THE MOST important issue. So, when you're describing your adult daughter in a couple sentences, you a) think the fact that she is a virgin is a defining characteristic and b) think it's appropriate to share your daughter's sexual choices on the internet. Creepy.
