Scary storms and home alone

I hate storms.  I am a total pansy - I have a hard time handling them.  When I'm at school working, I'm jumpy just like my students.  There is a big one heading my way with 60 mile and hour winds and the weather man says get ready for some damage.  Aaaaagh!  My lights are already flickering.  And I don't think I even have a flashlight.  Sad

    do you have any candles? if so find them before the power goes out and light them now. Also your cell phone can provide some light if you need it.?

    I just heard about the storm heading your way on the radio. So sorry you're having to deal with it while you're home alone! Hopefully, it won't be as bad as they're predicting.

     

    We've had severe wind/rain up here but nothing like what they're calling for in your area.

    This!  Absolutely!  

    And maybe get your ipod if you have it, you could listen to some music to try and take you mind off of the storm.  

     Remember, if you are in your house you are going to be fine! 

    Just don't go outside with a really long metal pole!

    Thanks, girls.  I have all the candles lit.  The walls shake every time it thunders because I live in such an old house.  I wish I could just grow a set and not let this bother me!
