Cooks - olive oil spray

We're down to the last bit of pam (we had gotten quite a bit free) and we'd like to move to using olive oil.  Isn't there a spritzer you can buy to just spray olive oil on pans, etc?  Is it something special, or just a lil' spritzer?  Do you put oo  in it, or water & oil?  I feel silly having to ask this, but I bring these questions here.

Re: Cooks - olive oil spray

  • I use the Olive Oil version of pam....but I bet just a spritzer bottle would work.

  • My MIL gave me a spritzer thing from Pampered Chef. It works great- I just put oil in it.?
  • You can get the pump spritzer from PC or from Target or a kitchen store if you have one nearby.  Get a metal one, not plastic.  You just pump it and then spray.  It's really a great thing.  And all you put in it is the oil of your choice, no water or anything else.

This.  We have one called a Misto from Bed, Bath & Beyond.  It's great because it uses the OO we have in the house already and you pump it manually so it has no propellants like the commercially available olive oil sprays.
