First Timer With Cereal

We have just started putting a tablespoon of rice cereal in our 4 1/2 months 5 oz bottle once a day. It was too thick to come out of the nipple ... add more water? or reduce amount of cereal? Also, which cereal do you use? Anyone have good/bad experiences with organic? Thanks!

I mix it in a bowl not bottle.

From my experience cereal only flows through medium or fast flow nipples.
