Our pedi (and Kaiser's handout) said eggs are ok at her 9 month appointment, and the AAP stance is now that it's ok to introduce whole eggs before one year but there seems to be a lot of conflicting info.
I knew Z didn't have lots of allergies, so I gave him bites around 10-11 months, but full on scrambled or hardboiled eggs, like for bfast in the AM, was after 1 year for sure!
huh, I've been going off wholesomebabyfood.com's advice to wait until a year for whole, but yolks are ok at 9 months. J loves him some egg, and it's a PITA to seperate out the white, I am curious as well.

We waited until a year, but at the time our pedi and our pedi's handout said to do so and we didn't really think about it. We did feed him food that contained whole eggs prior to a year, just not whole egg straight.
I've always erred on the side of caution when introducing any new foods and even though so and so said it was fine or the book/paper said it was okay, I've always tend to wait a couple of more months after said date. As far as eggs, I waited a year.
around 1 year. I wasn't too concerned because he had no allergies of any other type. But DH gave them to him one day when i was out, not realizing that I was waiting.

DS has had tastes a few times, beginning at 10 months. I only give them to him when he wants some of ours so he's only had a few bites total. I plan ot make them a part of his regular diet soon.

I think she started getting egg at around 9 or 10 months.
