Feeling better & OB update

Thank you for the kind words and support last night.  My meltdowns seem to happen when its too late to call family or friends (or simply feels too complicated). . . I am feeling better today--things usually look better by the light of day!

I had a growth scan today--Grant is doing VERY well, he's a robust (estimated) 8 pounds.  Everything looks good.  I also saw a NP today and she was very helpful in calming my worries about what contractions will feel like.  She did an internal (ouch!) and my cervix is still tucked WAY up there and closed tight.  Guess Grant won't be making as early an arrival as I'd like!

Thanks again for the support!  I am now off to the post office to mail my DH his first care package of this deployment!  I'll check back in when I get home!

  • Glad you are feeling better!!! Sounds like Grant wants to stay where he is for a little while longer... hopefully not forever though!!! :-)
