** CMC, JRS** Petting zoo!

Hey ladies,

Yes, that's the petting zoo we were thinking about, up in Everett?  We're debating between that and the Woodland park zoo (Mikayla is napping now so we have some time to decide).  Can you tell me a little more about the petting zoo?  I saw the website but there isn't much info or pics.  Is it a decent size?  Can she really pet the animals?  We went to a farm this weekend that ended up being tiny and she didn't get much chance to pet the animals, they were on the other side of a fence for the most part.

Thanks!  :)

  • Woodland Park Zoo also has a petting zoo in the farm life section...

  • It's been years since I've been, but back in the day it was decent sized. They had pony rides, pigs, sheep, all farm type animals and you could actually go IN the pen and pet them, get pics..etc. I remember my little brothers giving kissed to a huge hog. It opened on June 6th and we just happened to be at the park that day. The zoo was PACKED. GL!

If you go post a review!

  • Deb, that park also has a splash park. Nathan likes it a lot more than crossroads.  maybe save that one for a warmer day and do the zoo today.
  • We go a few times each summer to that park/petting farm.  We were there last week, they have lots of goats, a baby cow, ducks, chickens and bunnies.  The goats and baby cow (so cute) are out walking around or napping.  You can pet pretty much everything; not the chickens or ducks.  Mason loves it.  It also has a good sized park and splash/water area.  Mason loves it and tries to stirp down to nekedness everytime.

Have fun, and let us know where you end up going.  We haven't been to the zoo's petting farm, would love to know what you think if thats where you go.

I always went as a kid!

it is prretty small, but the animals are all out wandering around so you'll get lots of hands on!  :)  I have some pics from last year if you want to see.  Let me know.

there is a great splash park too like pp said.
