Well, the first round of Cervidil and Pitocin was a bust. I was having some very strong and slightly painful contractions this afternoon, but my cervix never progressed beyond 1cm. My husband thinks the first nurse put the Cervidil in wrong. Anyway, they stopped the Pitocin around 5 this afternoon and let me eat dinner and walk around for a little while, and the second Cervidil went in tonight around 8:45. Hopefully this one will do the trick. The nurse said more often than not a second Cervidil will get people dilated. If nothing happens tomorrow, we'll be having a C-section. Say a little prayer for us and Peanut that the second Cervidil does what it's supposed to and that I will go into labor tomorrow!
I HAVE CHILDREN.
Re: Still pregnant...

Maybe there is more to the story.. but yea its pretty common for most people to be pregnant still at 39 weeks...
My doctor recommended induction a week early because he was already 9lbs at 38 weeks and I would prefer to have a vaginal delivery. There's the rest of the story.
