I got mine the afternoon after my last day of school. DH wasn't home when I tested. I put the two positive tests in a gift bag and then when we were alone, I got the bag and said, "Here, look what one of my students gave me". He was so confused at first when he pulled out one of the tests! He was totally surprised!
I really like the idea of telling DH is a fun way but I know that we are always going to test together. I just have a feeling that he will always want to know immediately and I really want to find out together. There was a website or bio that had a link to a really long list of ways to tell family and friends. We do plan on doing some fun things with family and friends though!

I'm pregnant so you better be ready for my mood swings.
LOL. I'm going to borrow this one day. DH is already telling me that he fears the mood swings based on what he has seen come out of my non-pregnant self.

I peed and got the results, went back to our room and told him that it looked like we were going to have a baby. He was half way sleeping, so I just climbed back in bed.
After two years of trying and two miscarriages, a text msg was the way I shared. Honestly, no matter how you share the news, he is going to be excited.
Re: Fun ways to tell your husband?
I said "Holy.Fycking.Sh!t."
And he knew.

I'll have to remember that for next time.
lmao-So your students got you KU? I know...j/k...
"get ready to pay up. babies are $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$"
This one has my vote.

I called DH, who had been in Iraq for 4 months, and told him we were having a baby. He was thrilled.
Figure that one out. LOL

The excitment of getting a BFP after miscarriages was pretty much gone so the other times it went "I'm pregnant, for now. Lets see what happens..."

FET May 2011 = BFP! Beta 1 (8dp5dt): 336, Beta 2 (12dp5dt): 2033, Beta 3 (14dp5dt): 4706
