Fun Poll : Cute things your kiddos do

AW away. What are some cute things your kiddos are doing these days?

Re: Fun Poll : Cute things your kiddos do

  • Izzie has this stuffed tiger, and today I saw her "putting the tiger to sleep." She was walking around patting the tiger on its back... just like we do to her.

  • If you say, "show me how a baby sleeps" he lies down on his tummy with his little tushie sticking up, just like he sleeps at night. So silly. He also fakes "ouchies" and runs over to me with his hand out so I can kiss it better.

  • Charlie has three new obsessions: the swiffer, his new baby doll, and baoons (balloons).  We try to swiffer/vacum every night and he loves the darn thing.  He grunts and points until we let him play with it (he stands and pushes it back and forth), and throws a full on fit if we try to put it away.

He picked out baby doll this weekend while we were shopping for clothes. He saw it and whined and pointed until we let him hold it and then he was so sweet with it (kissing her, and hugging her), that we had to buy it.

And he's obsessed with balloons.  He saw some at my brother's house on Friday and now whenever we leave the house, it is all he sees ( at TJ's, Michael's, etc.).  We got him one and he's been draggin it all over the house and kissing it all day long.

  • Eve wakes up in the morning and needs to "talk" about her night. She pops her paci out and meows like a cat and then pops it back in. Then she pops it out again and pants like a dog and pops it back in. Then she pops it out and says "Wow! Oh! Wowohwowowowoh! Wow!" and puts it back in. She's got so much to tell us, but not enough words to do it. :)

  • He's so funny these days.  When he's eating something, he'll look at either DH or me and say "Wan some?  Wan some?", smile, nod his head with his eyebrows raised and hold out some of whatever he's eating.

If DH or I are talking, he'll sometimes say "No Mommy/Daddy, no talking."

My favorite thing was on Sunday when we were at Disney.  I took him on the Dumbo ride and he said "I'm flying!" and when he saw DH down below he yelled "Daddy, I'm flying!!"   It was SO cute, I wish I had it on video.  He also was singing along with It's a Small World at the end of the ride.

  • They are starting to really be modeled by our own behavior. Anyone who knows me, knows that I love coffee and drink it every morning to wake up.

Yesterday DD wakes up, sprawls across her chair half asleep looking and says, "Emily need baby coffee." So I give her some whole milk and she says, "Mmmm... baby coffee!" Then she sipped it just like I sip my morning coffee to wake up.

  • I have already shared this with the board but he scoots! I love it and it is so cute to watch.

Also: He only woke up 3 times last night! YA! After two months of waking up any where from 5-10 times a night I was THRILLED! Plus one of those was just an hour after he went down so I wasn't asleep yet. I pray that he continues on this pattern.

If you are wondering what we changed: more food durring the day, one arm out when swaddled, sleeping on his side/tummy (pedi recominded this)

How cute! And I love that now Riley isn't the only baby boy on the board with a dolly he loves.

  • - Jenna hugs... nuff said.

    - She pushes EVERYTHING around the house. Her musical play table, her walker, laundry baskets... when pushing her walker she pushes it, then stops and turns it like 90 degrees (forcefully) then continues in a new direction.

    - Her 'cheese' smile. It's like she learned to smile in the last month. All the sudden she'll look at you and you smile at her and her cheeks puff out and she's showing all of her teeth and gums. Adorable.

    - Her dancing... she dances and dances and dances... so, so cute!

-She likes to stand or sit on something.. anything other than the floor. If there's a bag on the floor, she sits on it, our shoes? yup, perched on top. One of her books... those will work, too. Nursing stool? You get the picture.

:(  He doesn't "do" much.  But I am enjoying the progress of his learning to touch things.  About a month ago he was grabbing toys by accident.  A couple weeks ago he progressed to grabbing them on purpose... and this week... he's grabbing them and putting them in his mouth!  It amazing how fast they learn!!

Yup! And she's pink too! Very very pink. With blue eyes. LOL. He loves girls.  ;)
  • Emmalee has started "talking." She is making sounds with her mouth and talking to you. She loves to smile & giggle too. She is still infatuated with her hands & has started putting stuff in her mouth to learn.
  • I ask him "Where is the baby?" And he runs over and lifts up my shirt and points to my belly.

He also LOVES to give kisses, he kisses my and then turns his head to kiss daddy, then back to me etc. And he will blow kisses to strangers, old ladies just love it!

  • Alex is singing more and more each day- like full-on singing along with the radio and singing songs to himself while he is playing or in his carseat.  I love his little voice and hearing him sing away just melts my heart.

he is also making "emotion faces".  Like, you can say let me see your sad face, your happy face, your surprise dface, your mad face... it is too cute because he does the expression for a second then he cracks up at himself.

We read the book 'love you forever" a lot, and now whenever you put Alex to bed he shouts to you as you shut the door-- "I love you forever!!"  It's super cute.

Agreed, all these storues are fun to read!
