anyone else have a strange taste and feeling on tounge?

its sooo weird. i've had it since we got our bfp, but today it is bothering me. yuck!
Married my BEST FRIEND on December 1, 2007. Started TTC in March 2008. Found out we were expecting our first child in October 2008 - but had a m/c in December 2008 - resulting in a d&e. Met with a RE in May 2009 and set a plan - but conceived unexpectedly on our own! Our precious little Sophia was born on February 9, 2010! Lilypie Third Birthday tickers

    I was getting a metal taste in my mouth for a few days there... but it went away pretty quickly.

    I have that gross tounge so I used my tounge scraper.  Worked like a charm!

    Maybe you could try that?

    I've heard about a metallic taste but I've never experienced it myself. The only weird symptom I've had is this weird, excessive saliva!

    I've had a weird taste since the beginning of this pregnancy.  It's not the metallic taste, but some other weird taste.  I'm still waiting for it to go away.  I think it's part of the reason I'm gaggy all the time.

    My cousin had asked me the other day if I had "the metal taste"  I told her she was nuts - well I spoke too soon, got the metal taste when I got home - it tasted like I had just gotten about 13 new fillings - yuck!!!!!

    Yeah I can't tell if its a metal taste or what. All I know is it is soooo strange.

    Yup! Both pregnancies. For me it never went away, I had it till he was born. And I have it again, I soooo hope it goes away this time sooner.

    Yes, I've had a horrible metallic taste in my mouth a few times now.  I make sure I have a pack of gum with me to help out when it hits...not pleasant at all.

    I don't really have a metallic taste in my mouth but the tip of my tounge feels funny most of the day so I just keep sipping water so maybe that is why I am not tasting it which then makes me have to pee all the time!!  I wake up so dang thirsty every morning and in the middle of the night- not really a fan of that!

    Just that leftover vomitty taste ... even after I'd rinse my mouth/brush.  It was really gross.  I still can't seem to get that 'clean mouth' feeling yet.  As soon as morning sickness is over, I'm getting my teeth cleaned at the dentist!
